The biggest benefit? We can literally be in two places at once.

While I'm photographing you getting ready, a second photographer could be with your other half. While I'm getting the big moments, they're watching for your mum's reaction, your mates messing around or everything happening at the other side of the room.

You end up with a fuller story of the day, rather than only seeing the bits you were actually there for. It's particularly worth thinking about for bigger weddings, separate locations or busy guest lists.

Film just has something digital doesn't. It's softer, grainier and a bit less perfect — which is exactly why I love it.

I'll shoot it alongside your normal digital coverage, so you're not swapping one for the other. Instead, those film frames are dotted through your gallery and give it another layer altogether.

It's particularly good for those little in-between moments. And because you can't check the back of the camera afterwards, there's always a bit of magic in getting the scans back too.

Two rolls are included, with more available if you want to go heavier on the film.

If the thought of being photographed all day makes you slightly nervous, this one's probably more useful than you think.

There's no pressure and no awkward posing. We'll pick somewhere you like, go for a wander and basically get used to each other. You'll see how little directing I actually do and I'll get to know how you two naturally are together.

Then when I turn up on the wedding morning, I'm not some bloke you've met once holding a camera. We've already done this.

Plus, you get a load of really nice photos of the two of you at a completely different point in your story. Always a bonus.

Your timings should work for your wedding, not for my package.

If things start earlier, finish later, or you really want those slightly chaotic dance floor photos at the end of the night, we can simply add the time you need.

It means you're not rushing something because my coverage is about to finish — and you're not having to choose which part of the day matters more.

Because realistically, there'll be a handful of photos you keep coming back to again and again.

Rather than leaving them buried somewhere amongst hundreds of photos on your phone, you can have those favourites professionally printed onto proper fine art paper.

They're made to last, they look completely different to a standard photo print, and most importantly — you'll actually see them.
