About Eyes to Pixels.

A bit about me…

Leicestershire based Wedding Photographer, picture with puppy

I’m James the guy behind the camera. I started out in photography several years ago with a love for landscapes and sports photography. Travelling around Scotland and Iceland with my dad in a camper I guess is where it began. Throughout this period of time I got my work featured on Canon UK for an image I captured whilst travelling. From this I was then given the opportunity to travel around Europe to photograph some of the worlds best track and field athletes. One of the images I captured during this time enabled me to get my first magazine front cover.

So you’re probably thinking how did I end up in wedding photography?

After capturing a family friends wedding as a favour I realised I kind of enjoyed it. I also had quite a few compliments on my work, so thought why not give this a go…

Some of my most recent wedding work was featured in magazine articles from a shoot we did promoting diversity within the wedding industry.

Heres a few facts about me if you’re wondering… I love to travel, I love food and I love travelling with food. Luckily enough I have always loved the gym and running which helps counter-balances my love of food. Well thats my theory anyway…

THE EYES behind THE PIXELS

Documentary Style Wedding Photography
Luxury Wedding Photography
Candid Wedding Photographer

The Eyes to Pixels team consists of myself James - the photographer and editor; and my partner Sophie who deals with all the admin, Instagram and handling of enquiries. The most important team member, of course is Milo our 2 year old Goldendoodle, chief interrupter of all tasks!

Why not say “I do” to wedding photography thats powered by a couple that understands the importance of capturing love, laughter and cute doggos! It’s like a perfectly choreographed first dance! We believe having that approach as a couple is pretty powerful as it offers a seamless experience for our couples.

Meet Sophie, head of all admin, but also (more impressively) a GB pole vaulter! From competing at the Commonwealth Games to making the European Championships final, safe to say her pole vaulting journey is going pretty well!

Last but not least, meet Milo, a furry bundle of joy that steals hearts with every wag of his tail. When Milo isn’t out causing mischief over the fields and forests of Leicestershire he’s the centre of attention revelling in all the fuss and love he deserves.

One thing we all have in common is our love of coffee (Milo’s love of attention at the coffee shop…), but it has to be the good stuff! So if you’re looking for a coffee shop recommendation that’s also something we can definitely help with!
